The person behind Mullan Racing

I’ve spent 18 years as a Number 1 Mechanic and Subassembly Technician across BTCC, WEC, IMSA, Formula E, Extreme E and more. I started Mullan Racing because the support smaller teams and designers need is harder to find, and more expensive, than it should be. Everything here is something I’d have wanted access to when I was working trackside.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can you turn around a 3D printed part?

Most parts are printed and dispatched within 48 hours of a confirmed order. If you have a race weekend deadline, contact James directly and he’ll do everything possible to make it work.

Can you work from my existing CAD file?

Yes, send your file and James will review it. He can work from most formats, or measure up the component in person if you don’t have a file to hand.

What materials do you print in?

Mullan Racing uses a range of FDM & SLA materials including recycled industrial-waste filaments and carbon-negative bio-plastics. All printing runs on 100% renewable energy. James can advise on the best material for your application.

Do you ship outside the UK?

Yes, all products ship across Europe. For international orders outside Europe, contact us directly for a shipping quote.

How do I create an account?

Click ‘Log in’ in the top navigation and select ‘Create account’. An account lets you track orders, save addresses, and view your order history. You can also check out as a guest if you prefer.

Can I get a custom quote for a design project?

Absolutely, use the contact form or email James directly with a brief description of your project and he’ll come back to you with a quote. Custom CAD design is priced per project.

What’s your returns policy?

Stocked products can be returned within [30] days in original condition. Custom-designed and 3D printed parts are made to order and cannot be returned unless faulty. If there’s a problem with your order, contact James directly.
